For one of our clients we are looking for an embededd software engineer, you will be reporting to the Head of Software and with RF engineers, Electronics Engineers, System architects. 

Responsabilities: 

- Design, develop, test software 

- Follow-up the development of components from the prototype to industrialisation, considering other aspects than pure coding:

  analysis, deployment aspects on factory chain, documentation, R&D testing

- Debug issues with electronics and RF engineers

- Maintain small configuration tools used to parametrise hardware devices (C# .Net)

- Provide support to factory team

Profile:

Master as a Civil or Industrial Software Engineering in Electronics or Computer Science

2 to 7 years of experience or a similar experience as an embedded software engineer (tests & development)

Mandatory:

• A polyvalent developer, not to be afraid to jump from C++ to Javascript or TypeScript
• Linux app deployment & administration
• GIT source control

Assets :

• Knowledge of Modbus & SNMP
• HTTP REST communication
• Basics of electronics are an asset
• Customisation of Linux distribution is an asset
• Experience with Angular is a great asset
• Experience with Node.js is an asset
• C# is an asset
  

Soft/Hard skills: 

• Open to learn new development languages if needed in the future
• A good autonomy is a must, while remaining very communicative
• To be organised, and able to present a plan and provide regular reports of progress
• English written and spoken is a must
• French written and spoken is a great asset
• Other languages are an asset
