Engineer Delivery Manager M/H

As part of the development of the activities of one of our clients, we are looking for a Engineer Delivery Manager M/F

As such, your missions will be as follows:

RESPONSIBILITY

• Strong focus on Engineering delivery to achieve project on-time delivery and within budget

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects involving hardware, software, and system integration components

• Building a team with the same goals to create an efficient engineering chain conducting all engineering activities R&T/R&D.

• Manage cross-disciplines engineering teams, including systems engineers, embedded developers, and test engineers

• Identify and understand key impact points related to the delivery of all technical aspects of the project

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes, including Agile or V-model methodologies adapted to defense projects

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle

• Define and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with contractual commitments

• Ensure clear communication and reporting with internal stakeholders and external customers, including progress, challenges, and technical solutions

• Collaborate with program managers, people manager, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure compliance with defense industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AQAP)

• Support regulatory and certification activities related to product safety, reliability, and performance

PROFILE

• Completed Master’s degree in Engineering

• You have a proven track record with minimum 5 years of Technical Project Management or technical leadership experience within an Engineering Company (high tech) in aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded system or other high-reliability industries

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering: Model Based Design Engineering (MBSE), embedded hardware and software in complex applications, system product development, and integration/testing processes

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on complex technical projects

• You are results-oriented, cost-conscious and you like to take initiative

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a highly regulated environment

• You work with a vision, and deal well with complex situations

• You have a “can-do” and “why-not-this” attitude

• You like to lead with integrity and engage stakeholders

• You have demonstrated excellent Project Management skills: scope, stakeholder, resource and risk management and able to work in multidisciplinary teams;

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Polarion, Capella, Windchill)

• You have a positive and cooperative mind-set, looking for what to improve in his own team instead of looking at defaults in other teams

• You are enthusiastic, dynamic and have excellent communication skills.

• An experience in aeronautical, spatial, defense or automotive industry, as well as a knowledge of the standards DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO26262, is a plus.

• Fluent in French, English; knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus

What you have  needed to succeed:

With training in engineering specializing in mechanical, you have minimum 5 years of Technical Project Management or technical leadership experience within an Engineering Company (high tech) in aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded system or other high-reliability industries

Min 4/5 years of relevant experience working in engineering or R&D team

Autonomous and rigorous, you enjoy working with cross-functional teams.

Fluency in written and oral English is required and knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus
