The Field Operations engineer takes in charge the technical choices for the installation of a signaling system on
board of a railway vehicle or trackside.


RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Development of an installation technical file :

The quality of the installation depends on the following criteria :

 Compliance to the installation technical constraints for the objects to be installed
 The ease and quickness to install the objects
 The homologability of the file and the activities related to the file
 The genericity of the solutions implemented


The installation file development includes several phases :
 Identification of the constraints linked with the system and the objects
 Identification of the environment features (survey)
 Choice of the installation concepts
 Choice of the installation components (connectors, support, conduits, etc)
 Follow-up of the drawings / schematics composition
 Development of the methods and choices of the tools necessary for the installation execution,
identification of the “gamme opératoire”



Pré-requis du poste

SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education : Engineering Degree (Master equivalent or above) within a technical cursus : electricity, electronics,

electro-mechanics or equivalent experience in industrial environment, 3 years of experience

Competencies :

 Largely multidisciplinary and polyvalent profile (mechanics, electric)

 Basic knowledge in development of methods and « gammes operatoires »

 Knowledge in computer science allowing to use standard informatic tools (reports) and also possibility to learn specific tools linked with the metier

 Technical knowledge of the railway world

 Ability to work with remote contacts in a multidisciplinary context.

 Rigorous, reliable, autonomous

Languages skills : Good knowledge of English/French language is mandatory to allow to collaborate within a technical

world in an international context.
